The 2026 British Touring Car Championship season kicked off in style this weekend at Donington Park and what a start it was.
We’re proud to mark our fourth consecutive year as a technical partner with NAPA Racing UK, continuing to deliver high-performance thermal management solutions at the very highest level of UK motorsport.
Stuart, our Managing Director, and Nick, our Business Development Manager, headed down to Donington on the Friday to check in with our partners ahead of the race weekend — building on relationships and ensuring everything was set for a strong start to the season. With the groundwork in place, there’s real excitement for what lies ahead in 2026.

A Dominant Sunday for Ash Sutton
Sunday delivered an outstanding performance from Ash Sutton, but it didn’t start that way. After a difficult Saturday qualifying race that ended in a crash, Ash was forced to start from the back of the grid in Race 1 on Sunday.
What followed was a phenomenal comeback drive, fighting through the field to secure 3rd place, setting the tone for the rest of the day. He then went on to take two race wins out of three, putting down a clear marker for the season ahead.
The pace, consistency, and reliability on display highlighted not only the strength of the team, but the importance of keeping critical components under control across demanding race conditions.

Strong Performance Across Our Partner Teams
It wasn’t just success at the front of the grid. Our partners at Restart Racing also delivered a solid opening weekend, achieving a top 10 finish. A great result and a strong foundation to build on as the season progresses.

Proven Performance Under Pressure
With multiple cars across the grid running Immico thermal management solutions, it was fantastic to see such strong results across the board. From race wins to top 10 finishes, the opening round demonstrated the value of effective heat control in maximising performance, reliability, and consistency throughout a race weekend.
Looking Ahead
The opening round has set the tone for what promises to be an exciting season. We’re looking forward to continuing our partnership with NAPA Racing UK and supporting all of our teams as they push for further success throughout the championship.
