Immico's Festival of Speed at Goodwood

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is always one of the highlights of the motorsport calendar, and this year's event certainly didn't disappoint. The Immico team had an incredible four days exhibiting in the sunshine, meeting enthusiasts, manufacturers and industry professionals from across the automotive world.

The weather couldn't have been better, with temperatures soaring throughout the event. While most people were looking for shade, it actually gave us the perfect opportunity to talk about what we do best. Excessive heat is a challenge for almost every performance vehicle, whether it's a track car, competition car or high-performance road build. The hot weather became a great conversation starter, allowing us to demonstrate just how important effective thermal management can be for improving reliability, protecting surrounding components and getting the most from a vehicle's performance.

One of the biggest highlights for us was seeing so many incredible cars making their way up the famous Goodwood Hillclimb, knowing that many of them were running thermal management solutions supplied by Immico. From professional race teams to bespoke restorations and high-performance road cars, it's always rewarding to see our products being used where they really matter. Watching these machines perform in one of the world's most iconic automotive events is a reminder of why we love what we do.

Throughout the four days we welcomed a fantastic mix of visitors to the stand. It was great to catch up with existing customers and industry contacts while also meeting plenty of new faces who wanted to learn more about our products and capabilities. Whether people were looking for removable heatshields, exhaust insulation, reflective heat shielding or complete thermal management solutions, we enjoyed discussing their projects and exploring how we could help.

Events like Goodwood are invaluable because they bring together both business-to-business and business-to-consumer customers in one place. We had conversations with motorsport teams, OEMs, vehicle builders, fabricators and engineers, alongside enthusiasts who are building their own dream projects. Every conversation was different, but they all shared one common goal – managing heat more effectively.

Of course, it wasn't all work. Between the busy periods, the team managed to sneak away from the stand for a quick ride on the electric motocross bikes. They were an absolute blast and definitely provided a few laughs before it was back to talking thermal management with visitors.

It's always great to put faces to names and hear about the exciting builds happening across the industry.
