Aluminium with Glass Cloth

A lightweight, flexible aluminium heatshield material with adhesive backing, designed for high-performance automotive and motorsport heat management. Manufactured with a durable 20-micron aluminium foil face laminated to a high-temperature glass cloth base, it offers excellent resilience during cutting, fabrication and installation while helping to protect nearby components from excessive radiant heat.
 
The foil is bonded using a high-temperature silicone adhesive rated to 250°C, while the glass cloth base is rated to 550°C in optimum conditions. A high-performance adhesive backing allows for easy application in situ, making it ideal for firewalls, bulkheads, airboxes, intake systems and other areas requiring reliable thermal protection.
